Purchasing a mobile home is a big, yet highly predictable, decision—provided you understand the entire process. At ZED Mobile Homes, we ensure that every step is clear, structured, and managed in constant communication with the client.
Below we present the process of purchasing a mobile home step by step , from the first conversation to the receipt of the finished property.

1. Model selection and initial consultation
The process begins with selecting a mobile home model. Customers can choose from a range of pre-designed designs—from the compact 35 m² Miami to the spacious 65 m² Tokyo —or submit their own concept.
After contacting us by phone or email, we conduct a short consultation during which we discuss your needs, the intended use of the cottage (seasonal or year-round), and the planned location. Based on this, we prepare a detailed quote , usually within one business day.
You can see the current model range here: ZED Mobile Homes.
2. Customization and configuration of the house
Each cottage is custom-made . The customer chooses one of three finishing options:
- Light
- Standard
- Premium
Additionally, it is possible to extend the configuration with solutions such as:
- photovoltaic panels
- fireplace
- heat pump
- other elements that increase year-round comfort
Detailed information about finishing options can be found in each house available in our offer.
Selected models can also be viewed at the exhibition - this is a good opportunity to see the quality of workmanship and solutions in practice.

3. Agreement and payment schedule
The next step is to sign a contract (preliminary or final), which precisely specifies the model, scope of configuration, completion date and acceptance conditions.
Payment is divided into stages, giving the client full control over the process:
- first part - when signing the contract
- next tranche - in progress
- final payment - after delivery, setup and collection of the house
The handover takes place after the house has been levelled, the equipment has been set up and the handover protocol has been signed.
4. Production of a mobile home
Standard lead time is approximately 8-12 weeks , depending on the current order queue and the level of personalization.
We stay in touch with the client at every stage of production, regularly sending photos and videos documenting the progress. If any questions arise or changes need to be made, our team is available by phone and email.
We ensure transparency and client involvement at every stage of implementation.
5. Transport and assembly
Once production is complete, we arrange transport of the house from the production site to the designated location. Within a specified distance, transport is free of charge; in other cases, terms are negotiated individually.
Before installation, proper site preparation is essential. To learn how to do this properly, see this guide: how to prepare a plot for a year-round mobile home.
We also offer comprehensive site preparation services – the scope and terms are individually agreed upon. The ZED team handles the construction of the house, connecting all available utilities, and handing over the completed structure.

6. Collection of the house and completion of the process
Once the installation is complete, the house is handed over on-site. The customer can thoroughly verify the completion, and once confirmed, final payment is made.
We provide a complete set of documents, including:
- VAT invoice
- CE declaration
- acceptance protocols
